POST-TREATMENT CARE
IMMEDIATELY AFTER:
• You may experience a warm sensation, similar to a sunburn, for about 1–2 hours. This is completely normal.
• Mild to moderate redness is expected.
• If needed, apply a cold compress to the skin on and off for a few minutes at a time. Avoid excessive use, as this may worsen swelling.
1–2 HOURS AFTER:
• Once the heat subsides, apply Alastin Skin Nectar, followed by Alastin Ultra Light Moisturizer (both are included in your post-care kit).
• Keep your skin protected by wearing a hat when outdoors. Avoid sun exposure and remain indoors for the rest of the day if possible.
THE NIGHT OF TREATMENT:
• You may take Benadryl before bed to reduce the risk of overnight swelling.
• If you're prone to swelling, consider sleeping with your head elevated.
THE MORNING AFTER:
• Gently wash your face with Alastin Ultra Calm Cleansing Cream and lukewarm water. Do not scrub.
• Apply Alastin Skin Nectar, Ultra Light Moisturizer, and SilkShield Sunscreen.
Note: Failure to wear SPF during the healing process can lead to hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, or scarring.
• Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours; 48 hours is ideal.
FOR ONE WEEK AFTER TREATMENT:
• Continue using Ultra Calm Cleansing Cream to gently wash your face with lukewarm water.
• Apply Skin Nectar, Ultra Light Moisturizer, and SilkShield Sunscreen daily.
• Be gentle with your skin—do not scratch, pick, or scrub treated areas.
• Avoid all chemical and physical exfoliants.
• Avoid direct or prolonged sun exposure.
• Reapply SPF every 2 hours throughout the day.
It is important to follow these specific aftercare instructions to ensure the best possible healing and results.
